Lichtwerk
A cinematic studio site that lets the showreel do the talking — and turns reels into briefs.

The concept
The brief. Lichtwerk is a Rhineland film production studio shooting image films and commercials for brands like Vaillant, Porsche and Deutsche Bahn. They needed a site that felt as cinematic as their work — premium, confident, and reel-led — without drowning prospects in jargon.
The approach. We built the page around a dark, cinematic stage where the showreel and selected work take center frame, lit by a single brass accent (#c6a05c) for headlines, numbers and calls to action. Schibsted Grotesk carries the large editorial titles while Inter keeps the body quiet and legible, so the imagery always leads and the type never competes.
Why it works. The narrative moves the way a pitch does — reel, then craft, then process, then contact — so a brand manager scrolls from “this looks great” to “I understand how they work” in one pass. The restrained palette and generous black space make every still feel expensive, exactly the impression a high-end studio needs to sell.
