Signal
A dashboard-led marketing site for an observability platform that turns metrics, logs and traces into one fix-it-fast story.

The concept
The brief. Signal needed a marketing site that spoke fluently to senior engineers, not procurement. The goal was to prove — visually, in seconds — that unifying metrics, logs and traces collapses mean-time-to-resolution, without resorting to generic SaaS gloss.
The approach. We built a dark slate canvas with a lime-to-sky accent and set everything in IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Mono, so the type itself reads like a console. The page is dashboard-led: a live service-overview mock, a distributed-trace flame graph, an alerts-plus-live-logs split and an incident-response timeline each carry a single, concrete claim instead of marketing copy.
Why it works. Engineers trust what they can read off a screen, and every section here shows the actual product surface doing real work. The monospace detailing and restrained accent palette signal precision, while the detect-to-review timeline turns an abstract value prop into a story any on-call team recognises instantly.
A closer look at the details
Trace waterfall
A distributed-trace flame graph makes the slow span across services obvious at a single glance.
- Per-span latency bars
- Highlighted timeout span
- One click to logs

Alerts meet live logs
A split panel pairs prioritised, deduplicated alerts with a streaming log feed from the affected service.
- Ranked alert routing
- Live streaming logs
- Colour-coded log levels

Incident timeline
A four-step timeline walks teams from detect to review, with elapsed time on every stage.
- Detect to all-clear
- Time-stamped stages
- Auto post-mortem draft
